Cannabis advocate, Retired NFL Super Bowl Champion, Percy Harvin continues to use his platform to break the stigma. Percy has used his platform to share his struggles with anxiety on and off the NFL field. Traditionally athletes were prescribed a cocktail of remedies that can have adverse side effects. Percy found Cannabis had a profound effect on him, easing the anxiety and ultimately elect to smoke cannabis before NFL games.
“The only thing that really seemed to work is when I smoke marijuana. There’s not a game that I played in that I wasn’t high.”
Percy Harvin isn’t the only NFL player advocating for Cannabis, Calvin Johnson – retired Detroit Lion and others have shared their journeys with cannabis, and the relief it provides for physical pain sustained from playing.
